Return stimulus money
I’m trying to find out if a check I sent to the IRS has been received for a stimulus payment my Deceased uncles’s checking account received. The check was sent in July of this year. I’ve trying checking with the IRS, they are no help.

I assume you returned it because he was deceased. I had been suggesting people deposit it — when that was still possible — and wait for a contact from the IRS. I hope you sent it certified mail! there is absolutely NO way to contact the IRS for an answer on this.
