RAP Chicago renters assistance program

I have been following you for a long time.
I appreciate your knowledge, expertise and humor. I always tune into John a Williams WGN when you are on.
You had given an update on the homeowners assistance program. My question is I applied for RAP and have not received any confirmation, notification or update. Do you have any insights into were this is at and how I might proceed.

The Renter’s Assistance program has given out most but not all of the money it had. But they haven’t notified people whether they are potentially on the list –or whether they are out of luck!
the Mortgage Assistance program is even more complex, because they are working with lenders to direct money to payments. About half of that money has been distributed directly to lenders on behalf of applicaants.
It is HORRIBLE –and I have repeatedly told them so –that they are not notifying people where they stand in the process, so they can make plans. All they will say is that all money will be distributed by Dec 30th. And they say they had “email problems” but are “trying” to reach applicants. This is cruel — leaving people with hope, but little substance — and no way to plan for their future.
