Renting from family during covid [Outrageous!!]
Hello so i live with my grandmother as im renting a room. There is 2 tenants me and another woman living in another room. My grandmother is receving a loan as well as EDD she works as a hair dresser and im 100% sure she in not reporting me and the other tenant paying rent…Isnt that illegal especially during Covid19 ifs shes collecting our unreported income from renting as well as getting benefits from edd and a loan company?

I have written three more sentences and have had to erase all of them in my fury!! You are lucky to have a place where you an rent a room cheaply! And I’m guessing she cooks for you some of the time. Instead of worrying about HER finances, try doing some extra chores around the house. When’s the last time YOU cleaned the kitchen or ran a vacuum?! And count your blessings that you have a place to stay. If she got in financial trouble she would have to sell the house and you’d be out on the streets!!
