unemployment benefits running out!
Hi Terry. I caught the tail end of today’s talk with John Williams. I’ve been on PUA since March 15th. I’m seeing 3 different dates regarding my end date. March 13th., Dec. 26th., and 7 weeks after the Dec. date. sounds like I won’t be included in the extension and the extra dollars. I’m very confused. I have pulmonary fibrosis, COPD and PTSD. I’m getting treated for all. i got over Covid about 3 weeks ago. Thank You Very Much.

Well, first I’m so happy you won the most important thing: survived Covid. As for the end date, a lot depends on this upcoming (hopefully) new stimulus bill, which will likely extend the date of at least basic unemployment benefits for another 13 weeks. If that happens and if the system functions properly you will be covered by any extension since you are currently receiving benefits.
I know this is a great concern, but worrying won’t change anything. So please write back if/when they stop paying benefits and we will see what the situation is at that time.
Meanwhile, and not knowing more about your personal situation and age, consider applying for Social Security disability if you are not already receiving traditional SS benefits.
