Stimulus Checks
The first stimulus we received in May was based on our (MFJ) 2018 return was about $750 total. Had they used our 2019 return, it would approached $1800 total. Is there any recourse to get the larger amount? I would assume that the new stimulus will be based on a one’s 2019 return.

Yes, there IS recourse and you can get the balance when you file your 2020 return. Read this column I just posted today.
