2nd stimulus check
For the first stimulus check the IRS used direct deposit but this time the IRS said it was mailing my check. My banking account information is that same now as it was last spring; why would the IRS change how it is paying the second check when they have the information to do direct deposit?

Did you see that information on the “Get My Payment” tool — about mailing the check? Dont’ believe everything you read there!
Keep checking both mail and direct deposit. And if you don’t get the $600 by the time you file your 2020 tax return in a few weeks you can claim the $600 on line 30 of that return.
