My mother in-law received first stimulus but has not received other two stimulus checks. she is on social security but received a check in mail first time. when i go to IRS it says need more information. not sure what to do now? Help…. thank you

She should file a 2020 tax return — even if her only income is SS –and on Line 30 claim the $600 stimulus she missed in January. That should eventually trigger a $1400 stimulus payment to her Social Security bank account. If not, you’ll file a 2021 return next year and claim the $1400.
