refinancing parent plus loans and definition of public sector
Hi Terry – heard you on WGN today – thank God I was listening! I have worked for 17 years as a respiratory therapist in non-profit hospitals (Lurie’s, Rush, Froedtert) and paid student loans for this career for 15 years, finally paying them in full in 2022. Does working in non-profit hospitals count as public sector? I don’t want to miss any opportunities. thanks

OK, here’s some sad news. This program does not offer forgiveness of previously paid loans. It only deals with outstanding current loan balances!
