VA Disability Benefits Horror Stories
Do you ever look into horror stories about how the VA withholds VA disability benefits payments? I served for 27 years and my brother served for 20 years and both of us have had benefits withheld for more than a year. The VA then refuses to acknowledge it and doesn’t pay the benefits. We’re talking about over $18-$19 thousand dollars each. The VA wants to charge me over $5000 for a FOIA request. Can you help spread the word and see how many other unsuspecting disabled veterans this has happened to?

Gosh, I’ve never heard of this issue. Happy to publish your letter, though. So you had been receiving VA Disability benefits? For how long? And did you get a letter announcing the end, and a reason for the stoppage?

They also offer a “case evaluation” so though I do not know this group, obviously they are paid advocates or attorneys working in this field. Might be worth making contact.
