Hi Terry, I turn 65 in a couple of months and my husbands pension offers a GROUP Medicare Advantage plan through Humana. I have read several articles that you have written but I was wondering if having a GROUP Medicare advantage would make a difference to you? Thank you for your assistance.

Sometimes group Medicare plans have more leverage with insurance companies in getting tests approved, etc. But if you can afford it, I’d stick with traditional Medicare and a supplement. You can access care anywhere without pre-approvals. Please read the entire section on my home page in the red box.
