401K IRA
when my husband retires we were thinking of rolling over his 401K to an IRA where we could buy all T-Bills with it. Is this something we can do ourselves or do we need a firm to open the IRA and maintain it for us?

Well, you can’t buy T-bills directly from the government inside an IRA. But you can buy Treasury-only money market funds inside an IRA, which will do the same thing.
