2019 federal tax return

I file my 2019 federal tax return on March 1st. I mailed it in I sent it Certified The IRS received it on March 4th It’s been over 12 weeks I have not received my Refund. I have used. IRS website but can get any information on my return I’ve called the IRS Can’t get any information, I’ve emailed the IRS Over a week ago still waiting for a reply. Thank you for any help you could give me.

You mailed your return and it landed on the desk at the IRS just the same week they sent all their workers home!! Machines open the returns and deposit payments right away! I haven’t heard anyone say their payment wasn’t recorded. But you are not alone in waiting for your refund!
Now that the IRS has called back its workers, they will get to your paper return — so be patient and wait for that refund check. It will come!
