2020 Tax Return
I have heard you on WGN And wondering if there’s anything we can do for my 19 year-old son he filed his taxes in march And he’s not received his refund. We keep checking the IRS website. But all we get is it is processing.Is there anything that we can do to speed this up for check why he is not received his refund.Thank you for your time taking this question.

Nothing you can do. the IRS is doing a lot of stuff in addition to tax returns for 2020. They just finished sending out 2019 refunds! And they’re dealing with stimulus checks, child credit, returning taxes paid on the first $10,200 of unemployment benefits etc. So it could be months. The best thing you can do for your son is to advance him the amount of the refund, and have him pay you back when it finally arrives!
