Plan D
All my retired years I got BCBS supplemental insurance and then when plan D came along we took their Value and/or Basic plans This year BCBS is telling us we are being transferred to HealthSpringAssuranceRX plan. We always took BCBS because they had a good reputation. From what I could find Health Spring is rated 2.5 out of their 5 start rating. Could you find out from your friend Dillon what is going on with the change
Enjoy listening to you on Wednesday & have learned a lot over the years.
Have a good vacation

Here’s what Thom Dillon of JT Medicare Solutions had to say:
Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is the parent company of BCBS and they bought Healthspring last year.
Healthspring used to be Cigna. HCSC is/are trying to reduce the # of Medicare Plans they have so they are combining Healthspring and BCBS’s offerings.
The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) starts 10/15.
When deciding which Medicare Drug Plan is best for you it’s important to know what all your actual choices are. It’s not just BCBS or Healthsprings. Many other providers are out there and another insurance company might provide better coverage at lesser cost.
We recommend HeyMoe.com to help people decide what drug plan is best for them:

It’ $30 a year but if you use this link they will give you $5 off!
It’s crazy how many choices there are out there and what the differences can be between insurance companies.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or issues.
Thanks,
