Annual credit report — necessary if frozen?
If I had a freeze on my credit for years , is it necessary to apply for a credit report ?

It’s always a good idea to get your credit report from at least one of the three bureaus, once a year.
Do that through www.AnnualCreditReport.com You never know what errors a current creditor could put on your report. A freeze only protects against fraudulently opening NEW credit.
