Art supplies for a tax right off
My daughter is an art major in college. We support her and buy all supplies. Can we use the purchase of all her supplies on our taxes

Nope! This is not your business deduction, it is a parental obligation or gift to a child, including her tuition. Hopefully her art major job will get her a great job — or she will become an acclaimed artist — and support you in your old age. If that’s unlikely, keep saving for your own retirement!
