Ask Terry Questions Axa Annuity

Axa Annuity

By Terry Savage on June 26, 2024 | Insurance & Annuities

My IRA is in an Axa annuity. I’m only allowed a minimum withdrawal each month. Is there any way
I can take out a large amount ( 25,000) and put it in a more accessible account? What kind of penalties from Axa and /or IRS? My IRA is $523,000.
Thank you in advance for answering my question.

The answer to your question depends on the specific annuity product.  So, I have two suggestions for you.  First, contact AXA.  Their customer service toll-free number should be on your statement.

Second, you might want to book a free appointment with Stan the Annuity Man:   Stan The Annuity Man® | Brutally Honest Facts About Annuities

Just click the yellow box on his home page to get in touch.  Have all your paperwork from the annuity in front of you.  You can trust him to give you an honest answer about how best to proceed.
