My children have several CD that were purchased 20 plus years ago, should they cash those in ?How would they go about doing that?I enjoy watching you on WGN channel 9 in the morning.Thank you,

Are we talking about bank CDs (certificates of deposit) or Savings Bonds? Please write back and let me know. Bank CDs typically mature in less than 5 years, so they would have had to be renewed along the way. And they would have owed taxes on the interest.
