Thank you for taking my call today on WGN. I appreciate your insightful responses. As a followup to college loan forgiveness : what do you think the future of 529 plans will be? Should we consider suspending contributions to the grand twins 529 plans? Should we set a (lower) ceiling on plan funding and assume the federal government (taxpayers) will fund?

Don’t ever assume the government will be able to print enough money to pay for college for everyone. Or at least, don’t assume that would bring a worthwhile education!
Keep funding your grandkids 529 plan!
