Bright Start is a program you access yourself at www.BrightStartSavings.com.
BrightDirections is the same Illinois 529 program, but designed to be “sold” or “introduced” by financial advisers and brokers, with some payments to them built in!
You can do this yourself. Give it a try!
PS. None of this is to be confused with the now almost-defunct Illinois prepaid tuition plan called CollegeIllinois.
