Credit card
I applied for a store credit card but I don’t want it. I didn’t activate it and I want to cancel it. Should I call to cancel or will it cancel altomaticaly because I didn’t activate it. I don’t want it to hurt my credit rating.

Check your credit report at one of the three bureaus for free, by going to www.AnnualCreditReport.com.
If the card has been opened, it should show up there within 60 days. If it IS there, contact the card issuer and tell them you want to close the card. Then check your credit report again from one of the other three bureaus to make sure it’s gone.
