Credit Card Debt for grandson
My grandson has a lot of credit card debt on three different cards and is thinking of consolidating debt on one card. Is this a good idea or is there a better way to pay them off.

The rule for when you’re in a deep hole is to stop digging! Consolidating inevitably frees up the old cards — a temptation if he hasnt learned his lesson.
I suggest he (not you) call 800-388-2227, which will connect him to the nearest office of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. He needs to understand how he get into this situation, and work with them to pay off his debt in the best/fastest way possible. He can trust them.
