Credit Card Reduction — a scam?

By Terry Savage on October 31, 2020 | Credit/Debt

I received an e-mail from GRT Financial , saying that they could substantially reduce my credit cards & monthly payments. I would have to give up the two cards. I asked for their main office so I could check them out. They gave me Southfield , Michigan & I went to BBB on line to see what they would say about the company, They said it did not exist. Two things, if I got the name wrong or location or both? Or is this a scam? If it is, do you know of legitimate company that can do that?
Thanks for reading this, I listen to you on wgn radio often and I think you are great!

Sounds like a scam to me. Those kinds of deals can ruin your credit for a long time!
What’s the point?? Start paying double the current minimum monthly payment on at least one card. Pay the same amount every month. That will get it paid off in less than two years — if you don’t charge another penny.
