Credit report freeze or lock?
My 3 credit reports are all frozen and I am wondering what the difference between a freeze and a lock are. Is a freeze adequate or is there a benefit for paying for a lock?

A freeze is free and serves the same purpose. It’s a distinction without much difference – except the price!
