Credit Score
Hi Terry – I checked my credit score through my bank and credit card company. Why would there be such a difference between the scores (40 points!)?

They all use different “models.” Try checking at CreditKarma.com. It has TWO scores in each report — one from Transunion and the other from Equifax. Those are the ones I would believe. And it’s free and safe. my scores are usually just three or four points apart on those calculations.
