Terry I would like to get my Credit Score. I recently got your book from the library and saw that you suggest going to Annual Credit Report .com. I did go online and tried them before seeing your book. I just went to Google and it came up. I wasn’t prepared for all the questions. One section showed all 3 credit bureaus. Said I could get one every 4 months. So I hit the 3 but no option came up to split them. I thought I was at the end but it said I used my time up. I would think I would have gotten an email from them if it went thru.
I am doing it on my I phone.
The other option would be to call one of the credit bureaus and answering their On the phone. I am assuming they would mail it to me. I am glad I got your and saw that you approved of them. I had found them on Goggle and was a little worried after I tried to apply that they were a good company. I could try doing it again or just call one of the credit bureaus. What do you suggest.

Wait, do you want your credit SCORE — or your credit report?
Your credit score is easy. These days most banks offer them, and you can also get it free if you have a Discover card. I always use CreditKarma.com. Your score basically tells you where your credit stands overall — You should be aiming for over 800.

Your credit report is more complex — not just a one-number score but a chance to see what accounts are opened in your name and make sure no one else is using your credit. You get links to each of the three bureaus at www.AnnualCreditReport.com – -and yes, when yu get to the bureau you’ll be asked a lot of questions that only YOU could answer. That’s to make sure they don’t give you your report to anyone else! So you may be asked about prior addresses, or car payments, or mortgage payments — that date back many years. But someone stealing just your name an dSS and address couldn’t get these things correctly. It’s a pain, but worht doing to see the entire credit report at least once a year.
