Experian Account Access
I set up an Experian account last year so I can freeze my credit. I also did this with Equifax and TransUnion. This week I tried to access my account on their website. I am able to log in, but it sends me to a page where I can request a credit report. It’s the only option I have on this page.
When I hit request, I get a page that says “Oops, we’re sorry!” There is a phone number to call which is an automated line. It asks me for my info and then gives me a website to reset my user name or password. I’ve tried both, but still end up at the same point. I cannot find a way to contact a real person to resolve this issue. Do you have a contact number for Experian? Do you know of other people having the same issue? Getting into my account should not be this difficult!
Thank you

Did you lose your PIN — or do you have it? If you have your PIN, you can lift your freeze, either permanently or temporarily (if you’re applying for a mortgage, for instance).
Other than that, there is no way to “get in:” to your credit report — except to get an updated report. That’s what they seemm to think you want.
If not to lift a freeze or request a current report, what are you trying to do??
