Financial Help for college
Hi there Terry, I’m 18 years old and im an upcoming student at Howard University, and I’m having a few problems with my finical situation. I currently have 3 jobs, i’ve been providing for myself since my teenage years started and since im doing everything on my own it’s some what difficult coming up with the money they want me to give. While i was in high school i was considered an dependent student( homeless). However I stayed with A’s and B’s and received high honor roll at 4 quarters in all my four years. I worked very hard to get to this level of success and I just need some type of guidance as to what to do next.

Have you explained this to the Howard University admissions office? Call them immediately. Make sure they understand that you have been admitted but need more financial help they want you, so they will probably find scholarship money!
I’m assuming you completed the FAFSA form to qualify for Federal student loans.
Keep pressing them, both admissions and financial aid offices at the school. Let them know you are “independent” with no parental support.
And please post again if you don’t get help from them. I want to make sure your hard work gets rewarded!
