First time Part D enroller – it seems like they try to hide the $2100 max statement?
Hi – I am going on Medicare in 2026 and have entered all my drugs into the Part D section. I have one expensive drug such that in big letters on all the plans shown it shows the cost of my drugs for 2026 is over $126,000.
But then in much smaller print at the end of the page it says “The drug prices shown may vary based on the plan and pharmacy you’ve selected. Contact the plan if you have specific questions about drug costs. For 2026, you won’t pay more than $2,100 out-of-pocket for covered Part D drugs”
So can I be confident that I really won’t have to pay more than $2100 next year? The drug that is so expensive is a covered drug.

You are in a unique situation with a VERY expensive drug. YOu need to be very careful. For this reason, I suggest you go to www.HeyMoe.com and get their help — because they will look outside the box to find the best coverage for your situation — even if it comes from a manufacturer’s assistance program.
