Immediately go to www.StudentAid.gov. That explains EVERYTHING you must know to get Federal student loans. And that same FAFSA form is required for many grants offered by the schools themselves.
And yes, the form must be re-filed every year for loans for the next year.
Do you have a high school guidance officer who can help you in this process? Your daughter should ask. It would be a shame to miss out on financial aid because you didnt understand the process.
