funds in a money market
all my accounts are with Consumers Credit Union. For some reason, I looked at what amount I was receiving on my money market and it is .65 as of today. I have just over $39,000 in that account and at 78 years old, I would like to get a bit more. I don’t think that treasury bonds would work for me as the money is locked up for several months. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well, if you call Fidelity at 800-FIDELITY, you can open an account in their government money market fund. It is currently yielding 3.3%. It only buys safe government securities like Tresury bills.
