Genworth Long Term insurance
Terry, I’m sure you won’t rembember that I wrote to you on 9/8/15 regarding Genworth long term care insurance. I’m curious if you have followed any of the recent class action details? I’m trying to determine if I will be included. I know you can not answer that question but your insight might help me know a little better. I’m going thru my records to try to understand.

The suit alleged that policyholders weren’t appropriately notified that there could be rate increases, making their policies unaffordable in the future. The company settled with minor payments to past and existing policyholders. Class members were not rquired to file a claim, and you can find details of who is included HERE.
