HCA promises
in regards to your article on HCA health insurance, besides the obvious high deductibles and out of pocket costs, most health care providers do not accept these garbage plans. I have been using HCA plans for 4 years, first Blue Cross Blue Shield, silver plan, I could only go to Cook County Hospitals. I then switched to Ambetter, which list many doctors on their site, only to find out that 99.9 of the doctors do not accept it! I file a complaint on Ambetter with the State of Illinois which is a bigger joke than these plans! Go figure, anything the government is involved in is an absolute disaster! These insurance plans are nothing short of out right scams, probably paying out pennies on the dollar that they are staeling from taxpayers money.

Agreed — you MUST read the fine print about what hospitals and doctors are covered in the plans. Then if those docs or hospitals won’t accept coverage, contact the Attorney General of the state–and the media! That would be fraud. But I’m betting there was some fine print in your prior coverage that you overlooked!
