How can I assure my money management firm in making investiments in a timely way?
My financial advisor/firm has consistently outperformed the Dow Jones average. My funds are invested more conservatively since I am 61 and retired. I agree with you that the market is going to trend down on the short term. How do I make sure that my 401k’s and IRA’s are invested with this in mind?

Talk to your financial advisor about your fears. Consider asking them to move a significant portion to a money market fund. But they know your situation and should be able to reassure you that a market decline won’t impact your lifestyle. If they can’t do that, then tell them to sell a certain percentage of your assets.
