Identity and credit monitoring
I was informed by my long term insurance provider that there was a data breach and some of my personal data was compromised. They offered free identity protection. I signed up for that. Now I have been notified from my former Medicare supplement provider (I no longer have a policy with this provider) that they had a data breach and some of my personal data has been compromised. They offer free credit monitoring as well. My question is since I have credit monitoring services from the first breach, should I sign up for the credit monitoring for the second breach? I have had a credit freeze on my reports for some time now.
Thank you so much for your help. I enjoy listening to you on WGN radio.

No, you won’t need another round of credit monitoring. There have been some MAJOR breaches recently. I’d suggest freezing your credit per the instructions in this article: https://www.terrysavage.com/identity-theft-update/
