If on Medicare, how to cancel prior RX plan if I am changing for 2025
I appreciate all of your information and will be changing RX plans to save a significant amount of money. Do I need to contact the plan I currently have for 2024 to cancel? Also, does the change take place as of January 1st of 2025? Thank you.

If you sign up on Medicare.gov, that will be taken care of automatically. All you have to do is click to sign up for the new plan. The old one will be notified. Your new premium — if any– will be deducted from your SS check.
