Illinois 529 plan
I’ve been following your advice about the Brightstart program. I have $450K in their plans for my 5 grandchildren. Is it safe and separate from Illinois’s mess? Should I move some to a different 529 plan? Thanks

The accounts are held separately from the state’s finances, so no worry. But how many grandchildren, and how many separate accounts do you have with separate beneficiaries?
There is a cap of $500,000 on each account with a separate beneficiary!
