Lost Stimulus Check
Hi Terry !
The IRS says on its website that my daughter’s check was mailed 01/06/2021.
Today is 01/24/2021. No check has arrived . What can she do to recover this check.
Money is the issue here.

Wait another couple of weeks. If she really doesn’t get it (and be sure to check for a direct deposit, or a debit card in a plain white envelope) then she can file for a credit on Line 30 of her 2020 tax return. She can file that return after Feb 12th — but I’m betting she will get the “check” by then. That old story of “the check is in the mail” holds true these days!
