Hello,how can i reduce my medical debt i am a retired disabled veteran i tried to pay something but it is in collections and not accepting payments

Did you contact the doctor or physician earlier to see if you could work out a payment plan? It’s probably too late once the debt is sold to a collector. Call the National Foundation for Credit Counseling at 800-388-2227. If anyone can help you get out from under, they can. And you can trust them. Just tell them your story. And please write back and tell me how it works out.
