Medicare
My husband turns 65 this month
I turn 65 next month
He is a union carpenter still working full time and not planning on retiring yet
Gets ful medical for both of us from union
Do we have to sign up for Medicare??
Can we just stay as we are??

As long as you are both covered, you do not have to sign up for Medicare. But check with your union’s medical policy. They may require you sign up for Part A which is free. But the only thing about that is you can no longer contribute to a health savings account if you are on any part of Medicare.
