Medicare Enrollment at 65
Good morning Terry!
I enjoy your segments on WGN radio! I’ve learned a lot.
I will turn 65 in April. My husband is 3 years younger and we have health insurance through his employer. Generally speaking, do I have to sign up for Medicare, should I, or is it better to continue the employer coverage?

You do NOT have to sign up for Medicare if you have comparable coverage — UNLESS his plan requires you to do so, making Medicare the first payer for your health issues. So ask the HR department.
