Medicare Options after Diagnosis
Hello: is Medicare part G is it an option, what is the best for an individual in their 70s with a history of cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.

You must sign up for a Medicare Supplement immediately when you first sign up for Medicare! Once you are older and have illnesses, you no longer qualify for the best coverage in Plan G.
What kind of supplement do you have now? Or are you on Medicare Advantage? I’m sorry but given your medial history you probably must stick with what you have now.
