Medicare Plan G
This last year my husband had a plan G through AARP United Healthcare. In looking at other options for plan G for 2025, I found several available in our area (Chicago) that were less per month. Do all plan Gs give the same coverage? Doctors, etc.? We already took advantage of your plan D information and will be saving a significant amount per month on that thanks to you!

All plan G supplements must offer the same coverage. The supplement covers co-pays that Original Medicare does not cover. It has nothing to do with doctors, since all physicians that accept original Medicare will accept your Plan G supplement. They should all cost roughly the same, but you can search at Medicare.gov. However, you may pay more than the posted rate if you switch to another Plan G and have existing health challenges. Typically, I advise you stick with your current Plan G supplement.
