How do I choose a Medicare supplement?
What are good ones what ones to stay away from? How do I choose?

You must have a Medicare supplement. That's the first thing you need to know. There's a lot Medicare doesn't cover! Second, most important thing, is that you MUST sign up within 6 months of becoming eligible for Medicare Part B. That way, you cannot be turned down for health reasons from purchasing the most comprehensive supplement. Then go to www.Medicare.gov and use their search tool to find out the prices for the programs in your state. Really, you want to choose the most extensive coverage you can afford. You'll notice all the plans in the same "category" of coverage are compared by price. First pick the category (coverages) then the price. If you don't feel comfortable doing this on your own, go to www.eHealthMedicare.com or call them on their toll-free number: 888-296-0117. There is no additional charge for purchasing through them and they give great, unbiased advice!
