Missing information on rental assistance
Hello terry can you tell me how I can find out what information was missing I was disapproved ERA because of it but I don’t know what was missing so I can correct it now I’ve missed the deadline and really needed this help

Are you talking about the IHDA Emergency Rental Assistance program? If so, no use in looking back. That program is now closed and all the money distributed. There may be another program this Spring. Keep watching my website for an announcement if so.
Right now you can’t be evicted because of a federal moratorium. But if you are past due in your rent you should try contacting your landlord to work out some kind of deal reducing your back payment for when you get your stimulus payment. Get any concessions in writing from your landlord. There are a lot of people in your situation and the new administration will certainly come up with a plan that helps both renters and their landlords who need the money from the rents they are currently not collecting.
