Part B IRMAA
Terry,
I turned 68 on Sept 7, 2024. In 2023 my joint income with my wife was above the line and I was accessed the additional payment of $ 69.90 per month. In 2024 I was unemployed for most of the year, but can’t figure out how to get the $ 69.90 taken off my monthly payments. Total earnings in 2024 will be under $ 120,000.
If you could provide me direction, I would certainly appreciate it.

There is a specific form SSA 44, which you use to file an appeal or you can call Social Security (which governs Medicare) at 800-772-1213
