Part G

By Terry Savage on December 12, 2024 | Insurance & Annuities

Hi Terry!
#1 Thank you for answering my prior question!
#2 I understand now that it could be risky to switch from one lettered Medicare Plan to another. But does the same apply to part G high deductible, then switching to “plain old“ part G at a later date?
Thank you.

Terry Says

“G” isn’t a “part.” It’s a category of supplement. And switching supplements is always fraught. If you become ill and have high medical expenses, then you can’t switch to a different G plan. So pick one and stick with it. As I said previously, this is a case of “penny wise and pound foolish” to play around with this.
