Paying back student loans

My son is graduating in May from optometry school with many private and student loans. Would you recommend any advisors for him to speak with about how to start paying back these loans.

She can advise on income-based repayment plans, whether consolidation is wise, and the potential of public service loan forgiveness. I dont’ know anyone else who has such breadth of knowledge to give good advice.
Of course, we will have to see what happens when the issue of President Biden’s loan forgiveness of $10,000 finally gets adjudicated by the courts. But it can’t hurt to start planning now, before the rush, even though we are still in a period of loan forbearance until that court decision.
