YOu want traditional Medicare plus a supplement — the “G” supplement, since you cannot be turned down for health reasons if you apply at the same time you sign up for Medicare. Go to Medicare.gov and compare supplement plans available in your area, and compare prices. At the same time, sign up for Part D — the drug plan, even if you are not taking any drugs!
