Robinhood unauthorized stock sale

By Terry Savage on December 19, 2021 | Wild Card

I called Robinhood to have them transfer some of my funds to another account. I had Apple and Delta stock. They had me change my password and then the advisor at Robin Hood, that I was speaking with, did an unauthorized sale of my Apple stock. I told him he needed to undo it and he disconnected me and when I tried to call back the number was blocked. I still don’t have my money. What is my recourse? Thank you.

OMG — I am hearing so many issues with Robinhood — and the same issues have been well publicized in the media.
Here are their instructions for submitting a dispute: https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/how-do-i-submit-a-dispute/

Just google “Robinhood dispute” and you will see plenty of stories, and the way that some people have managed to get through.
I would also call the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to complain.
Here’s a link to the SEC webpage that might help: https://www.sec.gov/complaint/question.shtml

And I suggest your contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
